Morning Sun books recently released the seventh volume in a series of books covering the Erie Lackawanna railroad. Past volumes have covered the line from east to west; the earliest years of the railroad; as well as a look at the railroad through the eyes of a single photographer. The Erie and the Lackawanna have also been given attention in the “In Color” series. In addition to the “In Color” series of books, Morning Sun has also covered the Lackawanna, Erie, and EL with their facilities series, color guides to freight and passenger equipment, through passenger service and various titles in the “Trackside” series. This seventh volume in the “In Color” series of EL books is the first to cover a specific division – in this case the Mahoning Division.
